Wisconsin Reunion
The Midwest reunion is held just outside of Deerfield, WI, near Madison, at Liberty Church Learning Center (usually the last Saturday of September). This location is the area first settled by Nils and some of his siblings. These reunions began in 1930 as the family spread out across the country. Minnesota / Iowa Reunion
Begun in 2002 as a mini-reunion catering especially to those that couldn't travel easily to the main Wisconsin reunion. Made a few visits to family-related sites in the Minnesota/Iowa area. Washington Reunion
Started in 1982 by Helen Vanderhoef (Brown) of the Nils line (mother's maiden was Thelma Gilderhus), these annual retreats were held just outside Battleground, WA, at Lewisville Park (in the Juniper Section) until 2018.
